Despite the band name, (the new) frontwoman Nikki Brumen & co. don’t do black metal, but punk rock with R&B, rave and disco thrown in for good measure. That sounds dirtier than it is because Blood Command hybridizes those styles into an equally catchy and energetic musical “deathpop” mix appealing to fans of the likes of Kvelertak and Turbonegro.
