LOS BANDITOS

Anyone who thinks Los Banditos comes from Mexico is partly right: only Senore Professore Doctore Comodore Rodriguez Flamingo comes from Mexico City; his henchmen come from various corners of the world. Mr. 2000 Volt is a Romanian, Zven Francisco a Swede, and Django Boogiebastard Silbermann a German. These surf-rock ‘n’ roll bandits have more than 1000 concerts on their “wanted dead or alive” record and have toured from St. Petersburg to Madrid, Helsinki, and Cairo. And in November, they will visit Eindhoven Rockcity. Inspired by East German big beat bands from the early 1960s, Los Banditos integrates the sexy groove of 1960s/1970s soul and Cuban percussion into their music with classic R&B vocals.
